2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using the ThanksBusDriver service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

3. Driver Registration

Drivers must provide accurate information during registration, including:

• Full legal name
• Company affiliation
• Valid email address
• Company identification or badge

4. User Conduct

Users agree to:

• Use the platform for its intended purpose of thanking bus drivers
• Not post inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
• Respect the privacy of drivers and other users
• Not attempt to circumvent any security features

5. Purchasing Points & Payment

Users may purchase points to award to bus drivers. Points are purchased at a rate of 1 point = $1.00 CAD.

5.1. Payment Processor

All payments are processed via Helcim Inc., a third-party payment gateway. When you initiate a transaction, you will be redirected to Helcim's secure payment page. Your payment is subject to Helcim's terms of service and privacy policy.

5.2. Transaction Fees

A standard credit card processing fee (as displayed to you before checkout) is applied by Helcim to each transaction. This fee is added to your total and is paid by you (the sender). ThanksBusDriver does not profit from this processing fee; it is a direct pass-through from the payment processor to cover the cost of card processing.

5.3. Points Award

Points are awarded to the chosen driver immediately upon successful payment confirmation from Helcim. Points are non-transferable between drivers and have no cash value outside of the ThanksBusDriver platform. Points cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for real currency by the driver.

5.4. Driver Points Redemption

Drivers may redeem their accumulated points for items listed in their Wishlist. Redemption is subject to item availability and is managed exclusively by the ThanksBusDriver administrator. Points used for redemption are deducted from the driver's balance.

6. Account Deactivation

Drivers may request account deactivation at any time. Upon deactivation, all personal data will be removed from our active systems within 30 days.

7. Disclaimer

ThanksBusDriver is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any damages arising from the use of our platform.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Ontario.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

4. Payment Processing (Helcim)

When you make a payment to purchase points, your payment details (including credit card number, expiry date, and CVV) are transmitted directly to our secure payment partner, Helcim Inc., via their hosted payment page. Helcim processes the transaction and returns a payment confirmation to us.

We only store the following transaction-related data in our systems:

• The amount you paid (base points + fee).
• The date and time of the transaction.
• The Helcim Transaction ID (for reconciliation purposes).
• The driver who received the points.
• Your name (if you provided it) or a note that the sender was "Anonymous".

5. Consent

By using ThanksBusDriver, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

1. Overview

ThanksBusDriver values your trust. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for point purchases or other transactions on our platform.

2. Payment Processing & Helcim Fees

All credit card payments are processed securely by our third-party partner, Helcim Inc. When you purchase points, you agree to pay the base amount for the points plus the applicable Helcim processing fee (clearly displayed to you before checkout).

Important: The processing fee is charged directly by Helcim to facilitate the secure transaction. ThanksBusDriver does not keep this fee.

3. Digital Goods (Points)

Points are considered digital goods. Once a transaction is successfully approved by Helcim, the points are instantly awarded to the selected bus driver. Because digital goods are delivered immediately upon payment confirmation, all sales of points are final and non-refundable.

4. Technical Errors or Duplicate Charges

In the rare event of a duplicate charge or a system error where points are not awarded despite a successful charge:

• Contact us at thanksbusdriver2026@gmail.com within 14 days.
• We will investigate with Helcim. If we confirm an error on our end, we will issue a full refund of the total amount paid (including the Helcim processing fee).
• If the error is on the cardholder's end (e.g., accidental double-click), we reserve the right to refund only the base amount of the points, as the Helcim processing fee is typically non-refundable by the payment processor.
